Welcome to my ePortfolio!

As a soon-to-be graduate of the University of South Florida’s School of Information, I am prepared with the skills necessary to succeed in the library and information science field as libraries adapt to today’s ever-changing community needs. My ePortfolio provides concrete examples of my knowledge and how I hope to impact the profession upon graduation and employment in a library setting.

Currently, I reside in the Greater Tampa Bay area. I am in the midst of my fieldwork at the Barbara S. Ponce Public Library in Pinellas Park where I work as an intern in adult reference services. I also serve as President of USF’s Student Organizations of Library and Information Science (SOLIS), which has given me the opportunity to connect students, professors, and the professional library community to each other while providing professional development to the student body. I believe that my master’s degree in library and information science and my commitment to public service has combined my interests and talents in a way that makes me a strong candidate for a future library position.
